Continuando con la implementación del Código Internacional para la Protección de los Buques y de las Instalaciones Portuarias,se hace necesario tener un fórmato único relacionado con la Regla 9 "Medidas de control y cumplimiento" del "Capítulo XI-2, Medidas especiales para incrementar la protección marítima" del Convenio internacional para la seguridad de la vida humana en elmar, 1974, enmendado, para que exista uniformidad en la información requerida a las embarcaciones que llegan asus puertos.

Por lo anterior, los capitanes de las embarcaciones deberán llenar el siguiente formato, que será remitido por correo electrónico,a los Capitanes de Puerto, al Oficial de Protección de la nstalación Portuaria de la API y al Oficial de Protección de la Instalación Portuaria de la cesionaria que atenderá el buque.

The captains of the boats will have to fill the following format, that will be sent by electronic mail, to the Harbor masters, the Official of Protection of the Harbor facilities of the API and to the Official of Protection of the Harbor Installation of the consignatary who will take care of the ship.
